Through Speed the Light, our missionaries are provided the tools they need to speed the gospel around the world. And they are grateful for the sacrifices students have made and continue to make so that people can hear the message of hope. If every student gave just $100 to STL each year, every missionary's vehicle and equipment needs would be met!
Here are just a few of the testimonies we've received from our missionaries and the students who have sacrificed:

Dear Youth Ministries Department and Speed the Light,
I read on A/G News about the latest Speed the Light initiative that is challenging youth leaders to "walk, so missionaries won't have to." We are AGWM missionaries in Africa and have just recently received our 5th new STL vehicle in the 28 years that we have been missionaries. We are deeply grateful to you for the funds that have been raised so that we can drive. We have had some interesting adventures in our STL cars!
In our 2nd car, a VW van, in Zimbabwe, I helped to deliver an African baby. We were on the way to the clinic, at midnight, but didn’t make it.
Our 3rd STL vehicle, a 4x4 truck, was confiscated at the Mozambique border. The customs wanted 125% duty on the vehicle, which was a direct bribe into their pockets, so we said “No way!” and they took the car. And, yes, we did have to walk for that entire year in the village of Tete where we lived. We could only get to two churches by walking, so we walked and prayed a lot.
With our 5th STL vehicle, we are now driving to remote villages in Southern Africa, assessing the needs for wells to be drilled near the churches that are built. Wherever we go, especially in Zimbabwe, we load up the STL vehicle with many buckets to give the pastors with food inside. We are also taking water to the people in our car.
Thank you STL and all the youth pastors around the USA for running so that we can drive. I never again want to walk in Africa for an entire year! We used to be youth pastors in two different churches and then we were youth representatives, and we loved doing fund-raisers with the youth.
Blessings to you! May Living Water flow in Africa.
