Stories
Through Speed the Light, our missionaries are provided the tools they need to speed the gospel around the world. And they are grateful for the sacrifices students have made and continue to make so that people can hear the message of hope. If every student gave just $100 to STL each year, every missionary's vehicle and equipment needs would be met!
Here are just a few of the testimonies we've received from our missionaries and the students who have sacrificed:

It is a privilege to be able to share a few of the things that STL has meant to our work here in Namibia.
Our STL vehicle has been a part of everything we do here. We have taken Bible school students on outreaches to other new churches (the closes one was over 250 miles from us!). I can switch from the camper shell to a steel ladder rack, and my STL vehicle becomes a construction truck for transporting materials and equipment. It also serves as a Sunday School bus, and we have transported as many as 27 teenagers at a time to church. Don't tell the DMV!
Early on in our ministry, we loaded a young family and their few belongings in our STL Toyota and started off on a 900-mile trip to the far northeast of Namibia. This husband and wife and two small girls were leaving the Bible school to pastor in this very difficult place. After two days of driving, we arrived at the church where they would be ministering and saw the terrible conditions. My first reaction was to say that we should all just go home and forget this mess. But they said that God had called them to this place, and He would provide. I am happy to report that they are there and doing very well.
There are a lot of other fond memories which include this great STL pickup truck. It has often been the "Good Samaritan" by pulling lots of other people out of the sand when they miscalculated their own vehicle's abilities.
The things we have been able to do because of this provision through Speed the Light are too many to number. We have been very careful to thank the Lord for this vehicle and to take very good care of it so that it will last many more years of ministry.
Thank you for giving!
