Through Speed the Light, our missionaries are provided the tools they need to speed the gospel around the world. And they are grateful for the sacrifices students have made and continue to make so that people can hear the message of hope. If every student gave just $100 to STL each year, every missionary's vehicle and equipment needs would be met!
Here are just a few of the testimonies we've received from our missionaries and the students who have sacrificed:

Any missionary will tell you that the bottom line is this: Without STL assistance, we could not accomplish our task of fulfilling the Great Commission.
In most countries, vehicles are very expensive and would inflate our budgets to the point where it would be impossible to allow for this "luxury" if we had to raise the funds through our normal work budgets. Does a missionary have to have a vehicle to proclaim the gospel? No, a camel or mule or bicycle or canoe would suffice (and STL even provides them!). Even our feet are enough to walk the trails and streets of the nations to which God has called us. But the reality is that JESUS IS COMING, and HE'S COMING SOON! There are so many who have not yet heard, and there is so little time to get the message to them. That is the blessing of STL. It facilitates our reaching the masses in the short time we have left to proclaim the good news by providing us with vehicles and equipment to access the masses.
As it is now, I know that STL funds aren't always available to help every missionary, so we sometimes have to resort to Plan B or even Plan C. Please know that if you give, more people will hear the message of the gospel, and if you don't, fewer will.
I do appreciate each and every one of you and the ministry of STL around the world. I was once one of these young people raising money for STL, and now I'm a recipient of the benefits. God is good, isn't He?
Blessings,
Missionary to Cambodia
