Through Speed the Light, our missionaries are provided the tools they need to speed the gospel around the world. And they are grateful for the sacrifices students have made and continue to make so that people can hear the message of hope. If every student gave just $100 to STL each year, every missionary's vehicle and equipment needs would be met!
Here are just a few of the testimonies we've received from our missionaries and the students who have sacrificed:

The setting of our assigned mission is quite challenging! The communistic doctrine of atheism still lingers in the hearts of many people in the Czech Republic. Local evangelical pastors estimate that approximately only 2 out of every 10,000 citizens in Prague claim Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Sometimes the mission can seem impossible, prompting one to ask the same question the disciples inquired of Jesus, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus answered them by saying, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
The Lord's mission of reaching the lost in Prague is possible! We see the evidence of this in our ministry to the youth of Prague. They are a generation struggling to find meaning in life, searching to absolutes in a world of uncertainties. Many of these young people stumble from day to day, experimenting with drugs and alcohol, eventually becoming addicts. With a God-given passion to reach these precious lives, we wanted to open a coffeehouse ministry to those struggling with drugs and alcohol. Yet we didn't have enough money to rent a facility in the center of Prague where most of the youth congregate.
The mission seemed impossible, but in prayer the Lord inspired us with a unique concept for this type of ministry. We felt led by the Holy Spirit that we should turn the back of our Speed the Light station wagon into a coffeehouse right in the drug center of the city. So, in obedience to the Lord, we would arrive at 4:00 a.m. on Saturdays in front of one of the city's well-known bars where drugs are frequently sold and used. We offered coffee, tea, Czech breakfast rolls, and the Word of Life. As the young people left the pub tired, empty, lonely, and weak, they were greeted with the joy, peace, and unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
Against all odds, over 40 years of Communism, several years of addiction and disillusionment, and a lifetime of unbelief, God did the impossible! By His Holy Spirit and through this unique ministry, He found and saved many precious lives that were lost. To God be all the glory. The mission is possible in Prague!
